As we build our business, I leave behind a world of steady paychecks and predictable routines. I feel free and happy. It has opened the doors to endless creativity. And I really love it! But I wouldn’t be honest if I said it’s easy.
The road to entrepreneurship is thrilling, yes, but it’s also filled with obstacles that make me question whether I should just turn back. It’s very easy to be tempted. Because there is a security in what’s known to us. And I knew exactly how to live that life and what was expected of me. I had a high paycheck and my routine felt safe.
Even though the urge to go back is there, I know deep down that it would mean ignoring the calling I feel to create something meaningful on my own terms. So here I am, navigating the uncertainty, facing doubts, and reminding myself why I’m on this path.
But it’s not easy. Stepping into the unknown is hard. And I realized this morning that I still haven’t created the affirmations that could really help me step into this new identity. That’s my strong belief—when we want to invite change into our lives, we need to become the change. We need to step into that new version of ourselves before it will start manifesting on the outside.
Returning to Affirmations as a Practice
I know the power of affirmations. I understand how they work, how they shift energy, lift vibration, and help me align with the version of myself I’m becoming. But knowing isn’t the same as applying. And right now, more than ever, I need to apply them.
I remind myself daily that this journey isn’t just about building a business—it’s about building a new self-image, one that is strong, capable, and aligned with my purpose. But the challenges have a way of pulling me out of that mindset. When things feel tough, when I doubt myself, it’s easy to get caught in old patterns. So this morning, I sat down to create my affirmations for this phase of my journey. 😊
Using affirmations to stay grounded
I wanted one affirmation for each chakra. And I may have picked too many. But, I can always change them or reduce the number after a few days of feeling into them. Here are the ones I’ll start with:
- Root Chakra (Muladhara): “I am deeply grounded and secure in my ability to create a thriving business.”
- Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana): “I feel passion and creativity flowing through me, guiding my work with joy and ease.”
- Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura): “I do what it takes to lead and grow my business with confidence and strength.”
- Heart Chakra (Anahata): “I feel love in everything I create. My business reflects my integrity.””
- Throat Chakra (Vishuddha): “I speak my truth with clarity and confidence, and my voice carries value in my business.”
- Third Eye Chakra (Ajna): “I see clearly the path ahead and trust my inner wisdom to guide my business decisions.”
- Crown Chakra (Sahasrara): “I understand my purpose, and I am deeply connected to the universe’s flow, which supports my business growth.”
These affirmations aren’t about pretending all is perfect. They’re to reinforce my belief that I am capable, even when things are hard. They remind me I am becoming the person I need to be to make this business work. Every challenge is part of that process.
Affirmations as a Daily Practice
Each morning, before starting my work, I take a few moments to repeat my affirmations. It’s a small habit, but it really makes a difference. It helps me set the tone for the day and reminds me of the energy I want to bring with me.
I find it easier to remember my affirmations when I connect them to a habit I already have. So, I’ll say them right after my morning practice. I’m doing a 40-day Kriya for my Kundalini Yoga teacher course, so adding affirmations to that will help me remember. I’ll also repeat them while brushing my teeth at night. For now, I’ve saved them on my phone so I can easily find them, and I might record them to listen to during the day.
Staying Aligned with My Purpose
The journey isn’t easy, but I believe I’m right where I need to be. The challenges, doubts, and fears are all part of the process. It’s tempting to fall back into old habits or go for a stable job, but I know my growth depends on staying committed.
My affirmations keep me connected to the bigger picture. They help raise my energy and shift my focus from fear to possibility. Each time I say them, I’m reminding myself that I can create the life and business I want.
It’s not about reaching a final goal—it’s about becoming someone who can handle challenges, face uncertainties, and create something meaningful. This journey is ongoing, and as I grow, my affirmations grow with me, supporting me at every step.
I’d love to hear from you! What do you do to support yourself when you’re facing growth and ready for the next step?
Lot’t of love and wish you all a beautiful day 🙂
